In January 2024, Shawn & Morgan Buckland purchased Smiling Gnome Candle Co. from Robin Bartell. The Bucklands are now pouring candles by hand in small batches in their home. Morgan started pouring candles in 2015 and has since enjoyed small-batch pours as a hobby. When the opportunity arose to purchase the well-known company Smiling Gnome, we felt it was a great investment. We purchased the candle company after the devastating stillbirth loss of our fourth son, Beckett. We have since rebranded Smiling Gnome Candle Company to Heaven Born Candle Company, in his honor. You can now find our candles online, at local farmers markets, vendor/craft shows, and at The Crooked Quarter in Caledonia, MN! We are also available by phone call, text, or e-mail & offer special pricing for bulk quantities.
